The FreeEnterprise.com Hackathon is hitting Washington D.C. in October and it’s gonna be EPIC. Businesses ALL OVER the US are doing awesome things every day, and FreeEnterprise.com tells the stories of the great innovations sprouting from these businesses.
So let’s pull out that spotlight and shine it on some of these great American businesses!
One of the main ingredients in a hackathon is the challenge. Duh. And FreeEnterprise has a good one for its attendees.
Attendees at the Free Enterprise Hackathon are gonna be asked to create an awesome web application or tool for FreeEnterprise. The tool must utilize at least one of the data sets that are will be provided.
You’ll be able to hack something together to make FreeEnterprise.com even better, help show the world how America’s entrepreneurs are keeping the country going, and maybe even help some people find jobs.
Attendees will have access to data from ADP, Dun & Bradstreet, the Census Bureau and more to create their hacks!

$1,000 AmEx gift card per team member
The overall winning team will get the opportunity to accelerate their winning prototypes with the FreeEnterprise.com team. The program will include desk space at D.C.-based global incubator and seed fund 1776, as well as networking opportunities with key stakeholders on the Free Enterprise team.
