The Ladies Behind Lady Problems: Gina Richards

When we started the Lady Problems Hackathon Series, there was one thing we knew for sure: building a coalition of partners and advisors who could guide and help us in our mission to support women in tech and entrepreneurs across the globe would be essential.

This blog is the first in a series of posts that will highlight the amazing advisors from across the globe supporting us, join us in basking in the glow of their awesomeness.

Gina Richards Gina Richards

Here are the top 3 reasons why we love Gina:

1. She is Procter & Gamble’s Global Leader for Lean In, a non-profit organization founded by Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg, to empower all women to achieve their ambitions. They do all kinds of amazing things, from building awesome communities and mentorship circles to providing education for women in their careers. Check them out www.leanin.org

2. She has an amazing network: when we asked Gina for help supporting the Lady Problems Hackathon – she went above and beyond and connected us with leaders everywhere in the world, ranging from the US to Europe to Malaysia and more! One of the biggest challenges (aka Lady Problems) for women in their careers is maintaining a strong supportive network inside and outside of work, so it’s awesome to have Gina as a role model for this 🙂

3. Her experience is off the chain, the supply chain, that is: Gina has been with Procter & Gamble since 1995 in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Initiative Leader roles, and currently leads a corporate supply chain program to digitize how we innovate and replenish products to consumers. Her experience and commitment to leveraging technology for consumers is #careergoals.

Thank you for everything you do, Gina!
